The Indian Wells Masters, also known as the Indian Wells Open and the BNP Paribas Open, is an annual tennis tournament held in Indian Wells, California, United States, between early and mid-March. Executive Chairman and co-founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison, is the owner. Tommy Haas, a former world number two player, is the tournament director. On the men’s side, the tournament is a Masters 1000 event, while on the women’s side, it is a WTA 1000 event.
