Nick Kyrgios To Miss Out Indian Wells For Knee Issue And Miss Ranking Points

Australian Tennis Star Nick Kyrgios will miss the upcoming ATP 1000 March event because of a severe knee injury. He also did not participate in the Grand Slam Opener, the Australian Open in the beginning of this year.

After pulling out of the Australian Open 2023, he went out for knee surgery, hoping to participate in Indian Wells 2023. It was a carrier-must event for Nick as he was in the immense form before the injury.

Nick is known for his fast servings in the tennis courts. Back in 2018, he served with the pace of 133MPH against Denis Kudla.

He played the Wimbledon finals last year and currently ranking at number 19. The 27-years old Australian star has not been seen in action since the Tokyo games in October 2022.

Among his big achievements to date, he reached a major final at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships and three major quarterfinals (at 2014 Wimbledon, upsetting then-world No. 1 Rafael Nadal en route, the 2015 Australian Open and the 2022 US Open, upsetting then-world No. 1 Daniil Medvedev en route).

Novak Djokovic and Nadal’s entry in Indian Wells is also in Doubt.
