Stefanos Tsitsipas Is a Greek professional tennis player. At the time of writing this blog, he is ranked at 5 by the ATP.
Tsitsipas was the youngest winner in the 18 years of the 2019 ATP Finals. He has won ten ATP singles titles, including two Masters 1000 titles. He also played in two major finals, the 2021 French Open and the 2023 Australian Open, but lost both times to Novak Djokovic. His best doubles ranking is No. 64, which he got on August 29, 2022.
When Tsitsipas won his first ATP Tour match in late 2017, he quickly rose through the rankings the next year. The 2018 Stockholm Open was his first win, and the 2018 Canadian Open was his second. At the Canadian Open, he beat four top ten players, making him the youngest player to do so in a single game.
Tsitsipas has been a regular in the top 10 of the ATP rankings ever since he won a practise title at the Next Gen ATP Finals to end that season. It was at the 2021 Monte-Carlo Masters that he won his first Masters 1000 game. The next year, he retained his title.
